The Jay and Linda Grunin Foundation are excited to announce our latest Engage Toms River Project with partnerships between the Ocean County Teen Arts Festival and Ocean County Salutes.
The Ocean County Teen Arts Festival, which will be held on March 22nd-23rd at OCC, is the premiere location for our students to show off the best of their creativity, whether it is in performance, visual, or the written word.
To make the event even more fun the Ocean County Teen Arts Festival judges will choose best in class to perform, or shown, at the prestigious Ocean County Salutes event on April 7th at the Grunin Arts Center.
The 2016 categories for selection are:
- 2D drawings or paintings,
- performances (large and small) and,
- instrumental pieces .
There is no theme for the Best in Class, nor do you have to enter. This is simply running behind the scenes at the Ocean County Teen Arts Festival and the winners will be notified after the Ocean County Teen Arts Festival.
$8000 in Prizes to be Awarded at Ocean County Salutes
At the Ocean County Salutes event there will be three $1000 prizes for the top performances on the night, with a $5000 Grand Prize for the best overall, as chosen by the Ocean County Culture and Heritage Commission.
More information to follow.
Be sure to keep in mind the NJ State Teen Arts Festival will be held from June 1-3 at Ocean County College.
