Applications are now being accepted for Ocean County High School Television or Audio Visual Departments to be considered for the 2018 Salute to Ocean County Documentary. There is a chance to win $1,000!

2017 Art in the Park

Protectors of Freedom

On June 26, 2017, the Protectors of Freedom monument was unveiled in Bey Lea Park, Toms River. The sculptures, created by Brian Hanlon, reflect every conflict from 1917 to today. With figures representing World War I, World War II, the Korean War, Vietnam and the Middle East, this exceptional work will touch the hearts and souls of multiple generations.

Salute to Ocean County

On April 7, 2016 at 6:30PM, the Ocean County Cultural and Heritage Commission, in conjunction with Ocean County College and the Jay & Linda Grunin Foundation, will present the sixth annual Salute to Ocean County: A Celebration of Arts and Heritage.

Principals’ Innovation Challenge

On Tuesday, March 1, 2016, the Elevate Toms River Principals’ Innovation Challenge was launched. Every Toms River Regional principal will have the opportunity to apply for a grant to be used for a program that will advance innovation in education.

3rd Annual Art in the Park

Saturday, August 22nd 2015 was a huge success.  41 vendors, 9 musicians, poetry readings, children’s activities and an opportunity to take part in a pop up community mural.

Jersey Shore Makersfest

The Jersey Shore Makerfest will be a celebration of creativity and imagination that is a workshop, science lab, county fair, and art exhibition rolled into one.
