Block off October 17, 2015 in your calendars!

Makerfest

The Jay and Linda Grunin Foundation is working with Toms River Regional Schools for the October 17, 2015 Makerfest–the first Makerfest to take place in New Jersey.

Makerfest is a FREE celebration of creativity and imagination that is a workshop, science lab, county fair, and art exhibition rolled into one. At its center will be a makerspace where attendees can experience making in a hands-on environment.

The winner of the Engage Toms River | Fire Company No. 1 Halloween Parade Competition will bring an element of their winning design to Makerfest so the community can help prepare the float that best shows why Toms River is a great place to live, work and play.

To make October 17, 2015 even more exciting, the Downtown Toms River Harvest Festival is on the same day.  The high point will be the unveiling of the Engage Toms River | Community Mural Project.

Register today for the FREE Makerfest.
